About Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Corporate Action Policy --- 11 SUSTAINABLE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES

11 SUSTAINABLE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES

The 11th SDGs is “Creating a city where people can continue to live”. The goal is to “achieve inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable cities and human settlements”. Inclusive means accepting and embracing diversity, and resilient means being resilient and resilient. The sustainability of cities and human settlements is also important so that people do not have to worry about the future. If you are going to live here, you want to live in a town where you can continue to live with peace of mind.

11 SUSTAINABLE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES

What is the reason why the town is uninhabitable? How will the town perish? How should we develop towns so that people can continue to live in them?
The problems facing the city are many and varied. Many towns are worried about the future due to problems.
There are various risk factors for the destruction of cities, such as large-scale disasters such as eruptions, earthquakes, floods, outbreaks of epidemics, wars, civil strife and riots, water pollution, and loss of employment due to lagging technology.
For the United Nations, prevention and improvement of slums, improvement of transportation systems, residential planning and management, protection of cultural and natural heritage, disaster countermeasures, environmental pollution countermeasures, securing and promoting the use of green areas and public spaces, etc. , seems to be positioned as an issue for the development of a city where people can continue to live.
It may become important for companies to support or contribute to the creation of more convenient, safe and sustainable cities in their business activities.
In addition, the United Nations has set 10 specific targets for "urban development where people can continue to live". Let's take a look at these targets and think about them in order to actually achieve the goal of "building a city where people can continue to live".
