There are various events such as Christmas, year-end party, New Year's party, etc., so it's a great place for restaurants. However, the situation has changed significantly due to the COVID misfortune that lasted for about three years.
Expectations are gradually increasing that the COVID issue, which has been going on for three years since it began, will calm down. However, it is unknown whether customers who have not come for a long time will come to the store.
Some people are still worried about COVID. Besides, since we haven't had a year-end party for two years, it seems that there are many people who think that they should not have a year-end party this year because it's too much trouble. Some people are making somewhat pessimistic predictions that the number of companies holding year-end parties at the end of this year will be less than half of what they were before the pandemic.
When it comes to that, it's a competition for restaurants. We have to somehow win customers who seem to be fewer than before the COVID crisis. It's the end of the year, but it looks like it's going to be a tough competition for restaurants.
First of all, I have to get the previous customers to remember the store. And I have to get them to think about going to that store again for a long time. For that reason, there are many restaurants that pull out business cards, phone numbers, and addresses that they have received before to contact customers.
You can't expect COVID-related subsidies anymore. Aside from those who were able to create income sources other than restaurants through takeout, home delivery, mail order, etc. during the COVIDcrisis, those who are not have no choice but to have customers come to the store and make sales. Therefore, it is now important for restaurants to not only wait at the store, but also approach customers and engage in sales in order to increase sales.
However, it is not enough to simply send an email or make a phone call. Customers' hearts will not be moved by business that simply says "Come to the store". Each restaurant's skill is to show how they can make customers feel attractive and how they can make customers want to visit the restaurant again. Restaurants are also required to create unprecedented appeal, such as new menus and new advantageous courses. At the same time, we will maintain the atmosphere of the store firmly and raise the popularity so that customers who have not come for a long time will think, "Ah, this is nostalgic" and "I like this atmosphere." is also important.
What kind of ingenuity should I do to get customers who have stopped coming to visit again? What is the most effective way to attract the hearts of customers and make them feel the expectations of the store? It looks like it's going to be a year-end sales battle that will test the ingenuity of each restaurant.
