July 2023: Become one of your customers' habits

Retaining regular customers is a critical issue in any business. Retaining new customers is costly and labor intensive. In order to grow the business stably, it is important to increase the number of regular customers as much as possible. Increasing and securing regular customers means that our business becomes one of our customers' habits.

July 2023: Become one of your customers' habits

A "habit" is a custom or routine, or a behavior of always doing the same thing. Humans are creatures of habit. Every day, people take various actions, but they do not necessarily act while thinking every day. We eat, commute to work or school, go to cafes and restaurants, and stop by supermarkets and shops. Some people always read the newspaper in the morning, while others spend all their time on their mobile phones. Some people watch TV for hours every day, while others spend long hours at the computer. Some people are early risers, others are late night owls. Some people always go out on weekends, while others just relax at home. Habits govern people's behavior. It is ruled by "habits" that people sometimes act without thinking too much.
Humans are creatures of habit. In order to increase sales, it is effective to observe people's habits and make good use of them. Just as we casually let people use our products and services in people's habits, we get into the habits of our customers.
If you can get into the customer's daily life and habits, you can stably increase sales.
People can change their habits. For example, newspapers and television used to be the main sources of information for many people, but with the development of the Internet, more and more people do not read newspapers or watch television. It is not uncommon for technological innovations to change people's lifestyles and bring about major changes in business. Business people must always be sensitive to people's habits and their changes.
Make it a business goal to become one of your customers' casual "habits." Let's do what we can do for that, and try to improve it every day.
