March 2023 9th issue: A boss's job is to motivate his subordinates

A boss's job is to motivate his subordinates. If you take away the energy of your subordinates and lose their motivation, you are disqualified as a boss. Interfering in unnecessary matters that are not the essence of the work, saying things that make subordinates lose their energy, or preaching for a long time are acts that prevent subordinates from demonstrating their abilities. Bosses shouldn't make their subordinates less productive. Once the boss shows the business policy in advance, do not interfere in the rest and focus on supporting his subordinates.

March 2023 9th issue: A boss's job is to motivate his subordinates

There are many bosses who are worried about their subordinates' work being inefficient and making mistakes, or not doing their job as expected. If subordinates are inefficient, make many mistakes, and do not do their job as expected, it is all the responsibility of the boss. Subordinates cannot demonstrate their abilities because the superior's guidance and management are wrong.
Most of the bosses who are troubled by poor subordinates do not understand "what is the boss's job?" Each subordinate has his or her own personality and ideas. Subordinates don't like bosses who ignore the individuality and ideas of their subordinates and only give selfish instructions and complaints. If subordinates start to dislike their superiors, they will not be able to do their jobs properly, let alone demonstrate their abilities.
A boss's job is to motivate his subordinates. A boss who cannot motivate his subordinates is incompetent. A boss who takes away the energy of his subordinates is harmful to the company. Only when subordinates are energetic and motivated can the department work enthusiastically and effectively.
When you become someone's boss, clearly show your business policy. In daily work, try to gain the trust of your subordinates as a "reliable boss" by pointing out the direction and policy that you should take from a broad perspective without daring to interfere in the details of what your subordinates are doing. Then, let's instill the policy in subordinates and create an atmosphere that makes subordinates energetic.
