Home --- Topics --- November 2023 4th: There is a pattern for people who repeatedly fail.
There are people who repeatedly fail. When faced with similar situations, they end up making the same mistakes over and over again. People who repeatedly fail have a pattern. If you can't break out of that pattern, you'll never be able to succeed and end up repeating failures. Failure is said to be the source of success, but only if you realize the essential cause of failure. If you make a mistake, be aware of the underlying cause and avoid making the same mistake again.
In order to avoid repeating mistakes, it is important to do the following six things.
1. Make a plan
If you want to accomplish something big, if you want to be successful, first make a plan. Make a plan and decide what to do and by when. The world is not so kind that you can succeed by acting haphazardly and without a plan. Sometimes when something strikes you, you would think, "I'm going to do this," and you want to take action immediately. However, it is important to have a plan in place so that you don't go haphazard.
2. Clarify the points to be managed
When you are going to work, be sure to clarify the points you need to manage. You will be more successful if you complete and check each task one by one. If the foundation of your work is vague, it will easily fall apart when you pile up the work.
2. Check yourself for mistakes and failures
Check yourself for mistakes and failures after each task. Some people get uncomfortable when others point out their mistakes or failures, but that's because they don't check themselves properly. You should feel embarrassed if you try to fix it after someone else points it out to you. Humans are creatures that make mistakes. But by self-checking and correcting your mistakes, you can avoid big mistakes.
4. Make improvements to eliminate failures
Let's make improvements to eliminate mistakes. Let's create a work environment that reduces mistakes. If you make a mistake and don't make improvements, you will end up making the same mistake again. It is important to continue to improve in order to avoid repeating mistakes.
5. Analyze the cause of failure
When you make a mistake, find the root cause. Failure is said to be the source of success, but only if you realize the essential cause of failure. To achieve this, it is important to thoroughly analyze the causes of failures without blaming others. People who repeatedly fail blame others for their failures. People who do not repeat failure are those who analyze the cause and realize the true nature of failure.
6. Listen deeply to what others have to say
Listen deeply to others. Other people's stories contain valuable information. Gather as much information as possible to avoid repeating your mistakes. In business, it is more advantageous to gather in-depth information. People who repeatedly fail do not listen to others. If you act based on assumptions, you will be more likely to repeat failures. People who can listen deeply to what others have to say are less likely to make mistakes.
If you don't want to repeat failure, break out of the pattern of repeating failure. To that end, please pay attention to the six points mentioned above and put them into practice.
