Excellent managers use various methods to make the right decisions. We also have measures in place so that even if you make a wrong decision, you can correct it immediately.
Bad managers make decisions based only on their assumptions and experience. Making decisions based on assumptions and experience may sometimes work out, but it can also make you more likely to fail. Even worse, when managers make the wrong decision and fail, they stubbornly try to keep going, making the damage worse.
In order to become an excellent manager who will not make mistakes, it is important to devise ways to make the right decisions and to correct the wrong ones.
There are three main ways to make the right decision.
The first thing is to listen carefully to what people have to say. In other words, use listening. By listening, you can hear the deeper views of more people.
The second is to place emphasis on the actual site. Only by going to the site and seeing the actual product can you make the right decision. The most important thing is not to make judgments based on the opinions of people who have not been to the site or seen the actual product.
Third, let go of your own preconceptions. Preconceptions arise from one's own feelings of likes and dislikes. It is a big mistake to judge things based on your feelings of likes and dislikes. Managers must not only avoid making decisions based on their likes and dislikes, but also ensure that their likes and dislikes are not known to those around them.
There are three main ways to correct incorrect decisions.
First, create an atmosphere and environment in which it is easy for your subordinates and those around you to express their correct opinions freely. In companies where management is not going well, the workplace often creates an atmosphere where it is difficult to express correct opinions without realizing it. In a workplace where it is easy to express correct opinions, even if management makes a wrong decision, it is easier to come up with a corrective proposal.
Next, make sure you can see the important parts of the business process. If you can see the important parts, it will be easier to notice mistakes and correct them faster. The ease with which problems can be discovered depends on whether important points are easily visible.
And the thing to do is for managers to give up their own selfishness and pride. When wrong decisions go uncorrected, it is often due to the manager's stubbornness and pride. In order to aim for better management, managers should let go of their own foolish selfishness and pride.
Seeing things correctly and devising ways to do so are important points for managers to make correct decisions. In order to avoid failure and to lead your business in a better direction, get into the habit of looking at things correctly.
