July 2026 Part 5: Sometimes, waiting without making any rash moves is also part of the job

Sometimes, waiting without making hasty moves is also part of the job. There are times when you should act and times when you shouldn't. Acting hastily when you shouldn't can actually make things worse. What's important is to observe the flow of events and then go with the flow. If you get caught up in your own ideas, wanting to do this or that, and don't see the flow of events, you're likely to fail. When you want to accomplish something, when you want to succeed, wait without making hasty moves until the right flow comes along.

Business failures often occur when you make a wrong move. When you act and fail, you end up regretting many things. You might not have failed if you hadn't acted. The timing might have been bad. The plan might have been unrealistic from the start.
If you keep regretting things, you'll become afraid of failure and timid. If you become timid, you won't be able to act even when the right timing comes along, and you'll miss out on opportunities.
If you keep making moves at the wrong time, preventing you from making moves at the right time, and repeating this vicious cycle, your business will gradually deteriorate.
There are quite a few people in the world who can't wait. Acting impulsively without waiting often leads to failure. In some cases, it can even worsen the situation. Whether or not you can wait a little instead of acting immediately can make a huge difference in business outcomes.
There are quite a few people in the world who are unable to "act." If you don't act when you should, you won't be able to seize opportunities. If you do nothing, your business situation may gradually become more difficult. Whether or not you can act when you should greatly influence the future of your business.
When should you act, and when shouldn't you? If you want to succeed in business, you need to learn these conditions and timings through experience.
Waiting without making any rash moves is also part of the job. And at the same time, acting when the timing is right and you should act is also part of the job.
