September 2026: Cornered business owners often tend to blame everything on others.

When a business faces difficulties, cornered managers often tend to blame everything on others. However, if managers blame everything on others, the business will only get worse. Relationships with those around them deteriorate, collaborators leave, the company declines further, and eventually collapses. To prevent a company from collapsing, the management must either be replaced or the management themselves must change their way of thinking.

When a business faces difficulties, managers must remain calm and take appropriate action. They must review what they have done so far, reflect on their mistakes, humbly seek guidance from those around them, listen attentively to their opinions, identify areas for correction and improvement, and change their behavior. Above all, humility is essential to overcome difficult situations.
When things aren't going well, or when things aren't working out, people tend to blame others. But business leaders shouldn't blame everything on others. When faced with a difficult situation, instead of blaming others, they should consider that their own business decisions were wrong. They should then quickly identify those mistakes and take action to correct them.
The most risky thing is to insist that "I've done nothing wrong" and continue on without making any changes. Blaming others for the business's stagnation and refusing to change anything yourself?that's the manager choosing the path to decline and ruin for themselves.
When you're cornered, stop blaming others. Be humble and reflect on your mistakes. Seek guidance from a wide range of people around you and be grateful to those who offer good advice. Those who can humbly listen to others' advice are the ones who can truly become excellent business leaders.
