Chiba Prefecture is located in the east of Tokyo, east south of Kanto. It is roughly composed of the southern portion of the Kanto Plain and the Boso Peninsula. Surrounded by the sea on three sides, the Tone River flows north, the prefecture is a rich area of water and greenery.
It is warm in winter and cool in summer, a maritime climate, plentiful sightseeing spots such as leisure and sports.
