Katahara Onsen is a quiet hot spring surrounded by green forests at the foot of Mt. Around June every year, 50,000 hydrangeas bloom.
About 15 minutes by taxi from Gamagori Station or Mikane Station on the JR Tokaido Line. About a 25-minute walk west from Mikawa Kashima Station on the Meitetsu Gamagori Line. During the Hydrangea Festival around June, there is a direct bus from the south exit of Gamagori Station.
