We are investigating and introducing tourist information around Fukushima Prefecture. Fukushima Prefecture is the prefecture facing the Pacific Ocean located in the southern part of the Tohoku region, the third largest prefecture in Japan. We will feature special sightseeing information of all over Fukushima Prefecture.
In areas facing the Pacific side of Fukushima Prefecture, there are areas that tourists can not visit due to the earthquake and nuclear power plant accident. However, there are areas where people are fully committed to restoration from the disaster and regaining vitality. In central area of prefecture fruit production is thriving, there are many sakura sights and hot springs.
The west side of the prefecture is called "Aizu district", a beautiful area playing harmony with nature such as lake, mountain and castle town.
