Gero City Sightseeing Information

Gero city is located in the eastern middle of Gifu prefecture. The Hida River flows nearly in the center, and surrounding is a rich natural area rich with steep mountains exceeding 1,000 meters.
Gero city is famous as a hot spring city. There are lots of hot spring resorts in the city, especially in the center of Gero Onsen where many ryokans and hotels line up and a lot of tourists visit.
