Nature in Gunma

Haruna mountain, Haruna Fuji, Haruna Lake

The central crater hill of Mt.Haruna is called Haruna Fuji. Altitude 1391 m. The distance from the foot is about 300 m. There is a lake of Haruna which is a caldera lake under the eyes of Haruna Fuji.

Akagiyama of Gunma prefecture

Akagi mountain is one peak of 100 famous mountains, it is a wide sightseeing area with charm of the 1800 meter peaks with Shirakaba forests and magnificent mountain foot with plenty of places to play.

Mt. Myogi

Mejiyama is a scenic spot where countless number of strange rocks and monster stones stand that are praised as well as Kyushu Yama Gorge and Shikoku Kankakei in Kyushu.

Tanigawa-dake

After about 10 minutes at the ropeway, you will arrive at Tenjindaira.

Okushimako

It is an artificial lake in the Shima area in Nakanojo-cho, Agatsuma-gun, Gumma prefecture.

Asama-yama

Mt. Asama is a mountain located at the border between Nagano Prefecture and Gunma prefecture.
