Life is precious. That is why we must live and we must make use of ourselves born in this world.
At the same time, Bushido spirit also dislikes thoroughly to live in vain, live meaninglessly.
To cherish life, to take care of the bond with the family and the lord, not to die in vain, to throw out the life without hesitation when it is really necessary for the lord or for the family. That is a samurai.
Bushido is a way of living and at the same time it is a way of dying. It is not a way of living a samurai to live with accumulating fat in the lower abdomen. It is not a samurai's death to swing a sword around and go dying unnecessarily.
What kind of way of life can be said to be a samurai, what type of death can be said that it is a samurai must be considered by samurai themselves. The moment they are forced to make a decision, will suddenly come. Training from everyday is important so as not to make a fatal mistake when making a decision.
Samurai must think about living and dying everyday and be prepared for it.
Do not choose death for ease. You can die at any time, but once you die you cannot recover.
