The rash courage people often dies in vain, and cannot distinguish right and wrong. There is a lot of waste and they can not know right and wrong, because there is no Bushido spirit there.
Samurai must continue training physically and mentally from day to day. Samurai do not only physical training but also spiritual training because they should not become a barbarian just boastful of armed force.
Both physical and spiritual training will continue all the while living. Samurai can continue to be a samurai by continuing refining themselves without losing their hard work.
If you continue training for many years, you will improve anything. By constantly continuing mental retention, you can see the authenticity of things.
By continuing physical and spiritual training, you can avoid wasting death more than anything else. It will be possible to make use of your irreplaceable life in truly important things.
Samurai do not complain about there is no war, no chance for their success. Of course, even if there is no place to play an active part, they will not be lazy.
During hospitable peaceful days, they just quietly work hard and continue to refine themselves.
