Departure from Europeanism and Return to Japaneseization Theory --- Repent --- Happiness
Happiness is luck or fortune. It's luck and fortunethat good things happen and you think it's fun. Also, it's luck and fortunethat you think it's hard when something bad happens. We live our lives by luck and fortuneall the time. In the first place, we were born into this world through luck and fortune, so everything we experience in life is happiness.
People think that they are happy when they have good things, gain, and have fun, and they think that they are unhappy when they have losses and hard things. The measure of such people's happiness and unhappiness is profit and loss. They think that the standard of happiness is whether they have gained or lost.
But if you only think about profit and loss, you will get greedy. Even if you get more in life, You still feel jealous of people who get more out of you. Also, when you gain something, the people around you will envy you. If you become envious, your relationships will often deteriorate and you will get into fights. A person who cannot be happy with gains will be even more unhappy with losses. If you only think about profit and loss, happiness will go away.
The standard of happiness is not profit or loss. Rather, the happiness of life lies in the place where you don't think about profit and loss, where you go beyond profit and loss.
If you were able to eat something today, consider yourself lucky. If you haven't been able to eat anything all day today, think of yourself as glad that you are still alive.
If good things happen and you feel happy, think of yourself as happy. Even if bad things happen and you think it's hard, think of yourself as happy. A person who can feel happy at any time is a person who understands true happiness.
Happiness is not something you go looking for. Happiness is always in front of you in life.
