Departure from Europeanism and Return to Japaneseization Theory --- Repent --- No True History
History is a record of how society has changed and developed. History is recorded by people, and the way of thinking and the position of those who recorded it is easy to enter. In some cases, important information may be lost or incorrect information may be entered, and history may be recorded as being different from the facts of the past. In the first place, it may be better to think that there is no correct history in the world.
For example, how about writing what happened in your past as "my history"? You may think, "Since I am writing my own history, I will be able to write it accurately," but surprisingly that is not the case.
Even if you try to write what happened in the past as it is, your current way of thinking and position will inevitably affect you, and you will want to dramatize it in various ways. In some cases, you may have completely forgotten or misremembered important events in the past.
Human beings may not be able to remember traumatic and stressful past events that they do not want to remember, even if the information is important to them. In some cases, it seems that you may imprint things in your own memory that are different from the past facts.
The way of recording changes depending on one's own position to record history. If you think you are successful and happy now, you may be able to record your past struggles as good memories. You may be able to empathize with your parents' actions and remarks that you didn't like when you were a student. If you are having a hard time now, you may not want to record because you have a lot of regrets when you remember yourself in the past.
It is difficult to correctly record even "my history" that records the past of only one person. There will inevitably be the position, subjectivity, preconceptions, and misremembering of the time.
In the first place, you can think that human beings can not record correct history. Even if someone says, "This is the correct history," or "This is the truth," it is "history that he likes," and it is often neither correct history nor the truth. Any history contains some position, subjectivity, or selection of information, and is biased. If you want to approach the truth of history, it is important not to believe biased information and always be sensitive to carefully hidden information.
