Marine tourism in Hokkaido

Marine tourism is a leisure activity that focuses on the area facing the ocean, and exchanges the sea and people while experiencing the fishery, fisheries processing industry.
We will tour fishing, fishery processed goods, souvenirs sale and work at seafood restaurant and experience deepening contact with the area while visiting.
Hokkaido is surrounded by the sea, and fishery and fishery processing are done in a wide area. Also magnificent nature such as watching seals, drift ice will be a valuable experience for marine tourists.

Hakodateyama

The mountain located in the peninsula southwest of Hakodate City, the altitude is 334 m. You can see the night view of Hakodate city.

Mt. Moiwa

The altitude is 531 m at the mountain which is seen southwest from the city center of Sapporo. It is familiar as a mountain climbing with light clothes.

Atosanupuri

The altitude is 508 m at the mountain located between Lake Kussharo and Lake Mashu. It is designated as an active volcano and has a smell of sulfur.

Okurayama

The altitude is 307 m at the mountain in Sapporo city Chuo Ward. There is a jumping stadium where the jumping competition was held at the Sapporo Olympics in 1972.

Mount Yotei

The mountain selected as one hundred Japan mountains has an altitude of 1898 m. It is also called Ezo Fuji from its beauty. It took about 4 to 7 hours to climb.

Asahi-dake

The mountain in Kamikawa-gun has an altitude of 2291 m and it is the highest mountain in Hokkaido. There is a ropeway up to altitude of 1600 m and you can enjoy climbing easily, but in the summer weather can easily change suddenly and sufficient equipment is required.

Showa Shinzan

The altitude is 398 m in the mountains made around 1945. It is designated as a volcano constantly observable and can not enter the mountain. You can see the fumarolic activity from the surroundings.

Esan

The altitude is 618 m at the mountain in Hakodate city. The scenery is beautiful, and the surroundings are nature parks.
