We are researching local information on Odesa. Odesa is Ukraine's third most populous city, a logistics hub with Ukraine's largest port and a famous tourist destination. We will feature information that seems good to know when advancing to Odesa.
A city on the northwest coast of the Black Sea. It is located about 440 km south of the capital Kyiv. There are no large mountains or hills in the urban area, and it is mostly flat with sandy beaches, making it popular as a resort area.
Compared to the rest of Ukraine, it is mild and has almost no snowfall in winter. The average temperature is about 20degC in summer and about 0degC in winter.

The Odesa port connects to Istanbul, Haifa and Varna. You can also go up the Dnipro river to Kyiv. There is also a good network of highways and railroads. Trams and trolleybuses run through the city.
