Education

From 2018, 11 years of secondary education will be replaced by 12 years of secondary education. In 2000/2001 70% studied at Ukrainian language school and 29% at Russian language school. In 2017, the Law on Education was enacted and the language of instruction was defined as Ukrainian. In 2020, the 'Whole Ukraine Online School' project was launched, where classes can be taken on TV and the Internet for grades 5 to 11 of the school.
