It is the official site of "Ibaraki prefecture North Geopark" which enjoys "whole earth" "nature" "culture" in the north area of Ibaraki prefecture.
Located at the eastern end of the Tsukuba mountain range of Suigo Tsukuba National Park, you can enjoy nature experience and nature observation.
Experience learning including seasonal nature observation sessions and forest management can be done.
Its location is adjacent to the village of Satoyama from ancient times, harmonizing with the surrounding landscape.
It is a biotope of Satoyama which develops in the vicinity of Tanaba Pond in the southeastern part of Kitayama Park in Kasama City.
We have fun programs such as buckwheat noodles making, charcoal grilling, woodworking experience classes.
