We are investigating and introducing trekking in Ibaraki prefecture. Trekking refers to mountain walking. Not aiming especially at the summit, stroll through the mountains and enjoy the nature. We will post popular trekking in Ibaraki Prefecture.
Hananuki Valley which you can enjoy various nature throughout the four seasons. Especially in autumn, Momiji, Maple, Nara, Kunugi etc. are dyed red or yellow and attract visitors.
The valley in the upper stream of the Hanazono River that is designated as Hanazono Hananuki prefectural natural park, is the Hanazono Valley.

Minederasan Kanto: Located in the northeast of Tsukuba Mountain in the suburbs of Ishioka City, Ibaraki Prefecture, one of the mountains surrounding the Yasato basin. There is Saikoin on the hillside. From the corridor you can see the Yasato basin.
Route mountaintop neighboring of Nantaisan distance Approximately 1.5 km Altitude difference 70 m Requested time 60 min Route to go round around Mt. Nantaisan. It is the best course for nature observation in Mt. Tsukuba including beech forest which is also designated as a monument protected area.
Sakuragawa City where mountains are connected. All mountains are less than 1000 m and perfect for beginners in longitudinal climbing.
If you visit Ryujin Kyo, hiking that can fully enjoy nature is indispensable. People who are not confident in physical fitness can also enjoy hiking in this course if you walk on the road paved as forest management road.
