Location

The main territories are the southern part of the Malay Peninsula (West Malaysia) and the northern part of Kalimantan Island (East Malaysia). It borders Thailand in West Malaysia and Indonesia and Brunei in East Malaysia. It is also connected to Singapore by bridges at the tip of the Malay Peninsula. It also shares territorial waters with Vietnam and the Philippines.
