Departure from Europeanism and Return to Japaneseization Theory --- Departure from Europeanism --- Revolution

Revolution

In the West, revolution means that the ruled class seizes power from the ruling class through riots, etc., or that a mass uprising overthrows existing authority and order at once, and that the political system suddenly undergoes a major change. The conventional system will collapse, and the organization of the national society will be overturned, so it will be difficult. A revolution involves many people, and in some cases it is a terrible event accompanied by many tragedies such as looting, riots, and massacres.

Revolution

In ancient times, a revolution meant a change of dynasty due to a change in destiny. When the dynasty changes, societies also change. People in the ruling class who have been arrogant until now will be chased from their positions of power, and in some cases they will be executed. It would be nice if the new people in power did better politics, but oppression often makes people suffer more than ever before. In particular, revolutions caused by violence and riots will continue to create chaos and oppression until society settles down, resulting in many victims.
Revolutions are more likely to occur when a regime's oppression and corruption, such as heavy taxes, continue for a long time, and when something triggers the hatred of the people against the regime out of control. Corruption of power is more likely to occur in a centralized government for a long period of time. People's resentment will increase when those in power give priority to their own desires and the interests of their close associates, regardless of the dissatisfaction and resentment of the people.
However, if hatred only escalates, it will only end in local riots. For a revolution to be established, a leader who wants to create a new system must appear, and there must be people who can create a whirlpool of energy for the collapse of the old system.
A revolution may be necessary in some cases to overthrow a rotten political system. However, the revolution is not only costly but also risky, with no guarantee that the post-revolutionary social system will be better.
