Departure from Europeanism and Return to Japaneseization Theory --- Departure from Europeanism --- Cold Dark World
In modern times, it seems as if the West has been aiming for a "cold and dark society." A capitalist society of greed and prey on the fittest, a communist society of tyranny and fear, nationalism and Nazism filled with hatred, and the chain of agitation and retaliation caused by these have led the world to a cold and dark direction. Even in a seemingly peaceful and safe society, people suffer and are oppressed, and the society becomes cold and dark.
After two world wars, the East-West Cold War structure began, dividing the world into two groups, the capitalist camp and the communist camp. An arms race and nuclear development race is held between the United States and the Soviet Union, and people will spend their days facing the fear of human extinction due to nuclear war.
The Cold War ends with the collapse of the Soviet Union. Since Soviet communism collapsed, it can be said that the capitalist camp won the Cold War. This would widely publicize the legitimacy of capitalism and the free market economy, saying that capitalism is justice, and the end of the Cold War proved the rightness of the liberal camp.
However, this does not mean that a peaceful and bright world has arrived. Conflicts between nations and ethnic conflicts are occurring everywhere. The threat of nuclear war still persists. Furthermore, the fear of terrorism has come to threaten people.
Since the end of the Cold War, capitalism seems to have accelerated "desire and the survival of the fittest" and widened the disparity. Capitalists fuel their greed and scheme for financial expansion and indirect control of the world.
Even as the times change, the movement to make society colder and darker continues to grow and torment people.
